IAC Acoustics Industrial Noise Control Solutions - An Overview

Noishield™ Sound Barriers and Screens

IAC’s line of high-performance acoustic barriers and walls offer an ideal solution to reduce environmental noise pollution in applications such as transportation, mechanical plants, sporting facilities, industrial sites, manufacturing, and distribution.

In addition to optimizing sound transmission loss, IAC’s barrier and wall systems are durable, aesthetically pleasing, and accommodate a range of finishes to blend with local surroundings.

Noishield™ and Slimshield™ Acoustic Louvers

IAC’s high-performance acoustic louvers are designed to solve diverse environmental noise pollution problems. The most common applications for these louvers are in air conditioning systems, transportation, and industrial & construction equipment.

IAC louvers are available in two blade louver styles to match the scale and aesthetics of a building: Noishield™ is curved and Slimshield™ is linear. Louvers are available in a variety of standard finishes (galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and powder coated) and can also be produced in non-standard finishes such as galvannealed, anodized, and kynar. In addition, both Noishield™ and Slimshield™ offer a high performance noise control solution without the need for additional architectural cladding.

Noishield® Continuline Sound Barriers

For a more aesthetically pleasing option, IAC’s Noishield Continuline allows designers to conceal structural members of a building while also reducing noise pollution. The Continuline panels have the same construction as the standard IAC Noishield™ barrier panels, except that the end cap wraps the column. This leaves a reveal that mimics the same horizontal reveal shown in the rest of the system, resulting in a solid front face that conceals the column.

Typical applications for Continuline are rooftops, rail systems, and generator & compressor packages. The Continuline panels are available in galvanized steel with powder coated finish, resulting in excellent weather and corrosion resistance.

Noise-Foil® Absorption Panels

IAC’s Noise-Foil acoustical panels are perforated metal panels that can be installed on walls and/or ceilings to reduce noise levels and control reverberation. These panels come in a variety of standard modular sizes and can be installed in rows, columns, or any other configuration to best fit the constraints of a building.

These panels are constructed with abuse-resistant metal and Class-A fire resistant materials. With a self-draining design and powder coat finish, these panels provide an extremely durable sound control solution for both indoor and outdoor use.

IAC’s Moduline® acoustic enclosures are pre-engineered, modular acoustical components that can be configured into a variety of structures. These enclosures are ideal for protecting workers from noise generated in industrial, commercial, institutional, and community environments.

IAC Acoustics offers standard packages for enclosures to include lighting, electrical, doors, windows, and mechanical components. Customers may also fully customize their enclosure based on their own requirements, including acoustic performance, fire resistance ratings, and ventilation.

Easy to follow, detailed, and illustrated installation instructions are provided with each structure to allow as few as 2 technicians to quickly install the enclosure.
